Grotberg Industries developed a replacement pushbutton PCB for an existing electronic device. The project involved reverse-engineering the original E1090_A circuit board, measuring its dimensions and mounting holes, identifying the switch and connector geometry, and recreating the board in KiCad. The replacement design included a custom switch footprint and mounting layout, with Gerber files generated for PCB manufacturing.
The Laser Shutter Replacement Project involved reverse-engineering a broken shutter component from a laser system. The original part was measured and recreated as a 3D CAD model and an engineering drawing to support manufacturing a replacement part.
The Pottery Logo Cutter Project involved creating a custom 3D-printed cutter based on a customer’s logo for use in pottery and clay work. The project included converting the logo into a manufacturable 3D model, refining the geometry for reliable printing, and producing the finished custom tool.
